Adventure Types goes App

We started our three publications with an idea, poured in a heap of work, some hope, goodwill and a lot of sweat, then bound it all together with gaffa tape. Up until the latest issues that gaffa tape was using a simple PDF as our publishing model. But this was always a stop-gap measure and we knew that we would need to evolve away from it.

So with the release of the latest issues of Vertical Life (issue five), Train Run (issue nine) and Paddle Mag (issue three) we are stoked that for the first time each magazine will have its own stand-alone App. Darwinian logic warns us to evolve or die, so all three are now available on Newsstand through iTunes and in the Android store. (All back issues are also available.)

You can download the App for free and then subscribe to four fabulous issues a year for only $13.95. Or buy single issues for $4.49 a pop. Dead easy and cheap at twice the price.

This has been a long process for us and we see this as a critical marker in our development.

But wait, there’s more…

Don’t worry, it isn’t steak knives. Included with the launch of our new Apps we have also launched brand-spanking new websites for all publications (designed and built by Adventure Types), which means that all our unique content looks even better. You can check them out here: Vertical Life, Paddle Mag and Trail Run.
